Their active role will contribute towards establishing a network of animal welfare scientists and create opportunities to discuss recent advances in animal welfare science.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">RAWC has a long tradition of organising regional workshops, training events and seminars. In 2020 RAWC will launches a scientific conference with intention to be held every second year bringing the regional scientists and experts together to exchange and debate the regional topics and promote animal welfare through better science.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We call on our members, as well as scientists and particularly young scholars, to participate in this conference by presenting a paper, oral or poster, and taking an active role in our network. The main theme of the congress is \u201cBetter science for better animal welfare\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There will be plenary lectures,\u00a0keynote and regular oral presentations as well as posters and workshops.
